Since 1983, Dundee Housing Commission has provided affordable federally-funded, independent-living apartments for seniors and disabled individuals in Dundee, Michigan.

Each of our 75 units come equipped with several amenities at no additional charge:

1Do you generally have immediate openings?
No. We generally have a wait list. To be added to the wait list, you must submit an application with supporting documentation and be eligible.
2How is your wait list managed?
All applications are added to the wait list as they come into the office, provided that the information listed on the application indicates that the applicant is eligible and all required information is submitted. Applicants who live or work in Dundee take local preference over any other applicants on the wait list.
3What are the income guidelines?
2023 Income Limits for Monroe County:
• Household of one person-$50,900
• Household of two people-$58,150
4Do you accept or provide Section 8 vouchers?
No we do not. We are a public housing project.
5Can residents have dogs or cats?
Yes. Residents may only have one pet and they must be neutered, licensed, and be under 20 pounds. Any questions about other types of pets or service and/or support animals, please contact the Dundee Housing Commission office at (734) 529-2828.
